My name is Shawn Lee I am a Denver native and have known Mike personally over the last 18 years.  I met Mike somewhere along the line and he took me in with open arms and has been there for me for quite some time on and off the lanes. 

Even more so now as I enter my 7th year running a Denver area pro shop, TenBack Bowling Outfitters,.  I have been on staff with the Hammer brand for over 13 years and I owe that to him.  He put in a good word for me and I didn’t even know it at the time.  Much less know anything about a ball contract at the time.  I was just a bowlers who loved the sport, as I still do even more, and bowled everything I could.   Goal’s were to be where Mike was at that time.  Not only a successful bowler but also a talented coach and great business man.   He ran some of the best shops at that time.  I have learned so much from Mike and there is still so much more to learn.  I can’t think of another individual more deserving of this than Mike.  Mike’s ability to adapt with all types of bowler personalities and  physical games is awesome!   Much of my success on the lanes I owe to Mike as his understanding the entire sport from A-Z has always helped me prepare for an event.  I look forward to seeing Mike further his career as a coach and being right there with him as I strive to be like him as he continues to promote the sport of  bowling the right way.
