I have known Mike for as long as I can remember bowling (growing up in Denver) and knew of his coaching abilities, but through happenstance, hadn’t had the pleasure of working with him until recently.  In early 2016, while bowling league I tore my rotator cuff and ripped the bursa head from my bicep off my shoulder.  This resulted in my taking 8 months away from the sport and feeling very discouraged about my comeback timeline.  Several months after making my return, I had the opportunity to work with Mike for a session.  Immediately he was able to identify a few bad habits I had developed after my injury, and a couple I have had since I was a kid.  We worked for over an hour, and what I really enjoyed was his use of technology.  Through his use of Hudl, I was able to see things he was pointing out in real time and get bio-feedback to help my understanding what feelings in my body equated to in how my game looked and the results of ball motion.  This was key in helping me gain full understanding of the practice plan Mike drew up for me.  Though Mike lives in Denver, and I live in Omaha, we are still able to work together through use of my practice plan and Hud.  It’s amazing the help he has been able to provide, working together hundreds of miles apart.  Since working with Mike I have shot multiple honor scores, won several tournaments and had multiple other top 10 finishes, including my best finish ever in a PBA regional (8th).  I can’t say enough about Mike and his ability to break down complex concepts (in physical game, equipment and mental game pillars) into digestible and actionable items.  Thanks Mike!

My name is Shawn Lee I am a Denver native and have known Mike personally over the last 18 years.  I met Mike somewhere along the line and he took me in with open arms and has been there for me for quite some time on and off the lanes.  Even more so now as I enter my 7th year running a Denver area pro shop, TenBack Bowling Outfitters,.  I have been on staff with the Hammer brand for over 13 years and I owe that to him.  He put in a good word for me and I didn’t even know it at the time.  Much less know anything about a ball contract at the time.  I was just a bowlers who loved the sport, as I still do even more, and bowled everything I could.   Goal’s were to be where Mike was at that time.  Not only a successful bowler but also a talented coach and great business man.   He ran some of the best shops at that time.  I have learned so much from Mike and there is still so much more to learn.  I can’t think of another individual more deserving of this than Mike.  Mike’s ability to adapt with all types of bowler personalities and  physical games is awesome!   Much of my success on the lanes I owe to Mike as his understanding the entire sport from A-Z has always helped me prepare for an event.  I look forward to seeing Mike further his career as a coach and being right there with him as I strive to be like him as he continues to promote the sport of  bowling the right way.

Mike Dias saw a few flaws in my bowling game . It only took a few hours for him to make a couple of slight adjustments, and I went on to have my best season ever on the pba 50 tour. If your looking for a great coach who happens to be a great guy you need to go see Mike.
